R+P Post 16: My Band or Artist

Some influential bands on aesthetic.

Michael Jackson.

Our band is called The Acrylics, and is a British indie pop band consisting of four members: Casey and Hugh Tyler, Terrnece Kitchener, and Guy Chapman. They are a left-wing liberal band that are active in their beliefs about anti-discrimination and human rights. This has been shown by some of the world's most loved music artists such as Bob Dylan with his influential song lyrics against discrimination, David Bowie being openly bisexual in the press and against homophobia, and Michael Jackson with his persistent fight against racism (to name a few).
Additionally, our band's colour scheme and fashion will be bright pastels with fun and quirky clothes.

CASEY TYLER:

Casey is the lead singer of the band and is the sister of Hugh Tyler, the lead guitarist. She has just graduated from university and is left-wing and middle-class. Recently coming out as a lesbian, Casey is an advocate for LGBT rights and supports charities such as All Out. She is also a very quirky and playful character who likes to have fun in her music, adding her own touches to the music and videos the band make.

HUGH TYLER:

Hugh Tyler is the lead guitarist and Casey's brother. He dropped out of uni early to focus on his music career and shortly afterwards formed the bnd with his sister. He is really into the instrumental side to the music and lives to play his guitar live. He gets along well with Casey and the rest of the band, and he likes to mess around a bit and have fun with them, especially with Terrence, the keyboard player.

TERRENCE KITCHENER:

Terrence is the keyboard player who joined the band after graduating from university. He is Casey and Hugh's best friend and likes to be silly and mess around with them in and out of rehearsing. He olves the performance side of the music, and although he is just the keyboard player, he sees it like he's the lead and always has a fun time.

GUY CHAPMAN:

Guy Chapman is a close family friend of Hugh and Casey, and has known them since they were toddlers. He is a more quiet character but that doesn't stop him from making his mark and thrashing out the music on the drums. Like Hugh, he loves the instrumentation in the music, and although he hasn't got a big stage persona, his drumming is some of the best.
